At Theresetta we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to become strong readers. Students in grades two to nine who require one-to-one instruction with reading skills participate in our Action Phonics Reading Program. Action Phonics teaches students to decode words accurately and quickly so they are better able to focus on the ideas presented. Students are selected into the Action Phonics Program based on consultation with the homeroom teacher, parents, and Mrs. Renschler our Action Phonics coordinator.
